intelliAd’s Social Responsibility

For several years intelliAd has been committed to the Children's Foundation steps for children. The current German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel, the patron of Start Social, awarded the organization in 2008 with a prize for its exemplary social envolvement. By supporting steps for children we are hoping to make a contribution to enabling these children in Namibia, Africa to lead a better life.

About steps for children

Since its creation in 2005, the Children's Foundation steps for children has been supporting children and teenagers in need in Africa. It was founded by Dr. Michael Hoppe with the vision of attaining a permanent self-sufficiency of these children without outside help. This goal is pursued by so called “income generating units of the project” (= steps) which are financially viable. An important factor of all steps for children projects is the intensive corporation with the local population. Having successfully created the first two sites in Okakarara and Gobabis (both in Namibia), steps for children is currently founding its third site in Otavi (also in Namibia).
